Nature nurtures us. It gives us some very important lessons of life and inculcates deep-rooted values. It has its own way and means to teach us and train us for challenges. Before technology took over our brains and controlled us, is was nature, who was our friend, teacher, philosopher & guide.
Even today, if you watch closely, it is always by our side.
We have improved and altered our living conditions and gone vertical, yet we still look for parks or green spaces and go back to nature to rest and breathe fresh air.
I’ve always been drawn to nature and the intricacies of trees have always attracted me. The captivating beauty of trees and stories behind their growth have alwuas captivated me and made me more inquisitive to observe and be with nature closely. So vast and enormous in size, yet so tranquil and serene. They occasionally respond to me when I speak to them. Both my joy and my grief were visible to them. They heard my school stories and dreams, which I shared while climbing on it. They speak to me despite their inability to communicate with words, by standing by me. When I realised that no matter where I am, I can stay closer to what brings me peace — my adoration and deeply ingrained love for trees has grown even more. I realised that my art has always been inspired by the peacefulness and serenity of trees.
If you can comprehend, every component of a tree, from the roots to the leaves, has a tale to tell.
When I started tattooing, my only source of inspiration was trees and to date, it remains the same. whenever I travel to add new elements to my craft, I go back & search in nature and trees have never disappointed me. I always come back replenished and refilled with new ideas, inspiration and a sense of completeness. A thriving tree tells a different tale than an old, dying one. When I create tattoos with a tree theme, I find that I return to nature and gain more knowledge from it. They help me grow as a person, and I discover that I am once more a curious child who wants to learn more.
Trees depict the journey of growth and tell you to how to balance and adjust and thrive but never challenge the ongoing process if you want to flourish. They teach you to trust in the timing and move as nature tells you to. They instruct you to follow nature’s cues and have faith in the timing of your actions.
As human beings, we try to go against our basic nature and challenge the time. Time is a great force and nothing can be attained before or after. We try to contradict our fundamental nature as humans and push the limits of time. Nothing can be achieved before or after time because it is such a powerful force yet a significant motivator.
Mother nature is a blessing in disguise. It displays the route that your soul can perceive. It never lets you down. My way of Designing tattoos is highly inspired and motivated by all four seasons and how trees interact with them is how I keep more in touch with mother nature and trees.
